Who is IMATE?
We are a specialist media agency appointed by TEQ to provide the IMATE service. We work in partnership with TEQ to service all tourism and events businesses, big and small throughout the state.
IMATE provides a full-service media agency offering that can meet the needs of your business with all the benefits of a major media agency across people, product and process.
We have an established team of highly capable media specialists across traditional media, digital, data and technology dedicated to servicing Queensland’s tourism and events industry.
What is IMATE?
IMATE is the Industry Media Agency for Tourism & Events in Queensland. Tourism & Events Queensland (TEQ) - the Queensland Government's lead marketing, destination and experience development and major events agency – established IMATE to provide the industry the following key deliverables:
ALIGNMENT - By delivering greater insight into TEQ marketing activity you will be able to make your investment work harder with IMATE developing opportunities to align to TEQ’s campaigns (or your RTO’s, LTO, LGAs campaigns) to provide greater cut-through to consumers.
LEVERAGE - The collective investment and our highly skilled media professionals providing media strategy, consumer insights and technology to assist in the planning and buying for media for your business and for non-paid education webinars.
ACCESS - Exclusive access to data and premium placements on Queensland.com to drive success for you campaigns, which provide your business the chance to get infront of a highly qualified audience.

Alignment Opportunities
Through IMATE’s key remit delivering transparency and visibility to the market, industry businesses will be provided with no-cost alignment opportunities throughout the year.
This will be through a variety of collateral produced by the IMATE team and delivered to market via our eDMs, in region sessions or virtual webinars.
